Determining the direction that COTAPSA takes is a benefit exclusive to COTAPSA members. While COTAPSA successes bring advantages to a wide range of City employees, only members get a true voice in the direction of the association. Being a member entitles you to vote on policy initiatives and participate in surveys that set the stage for actions COTAPSA takes on your behalf. Membership is your assurance that your voice will be heard and that your opinion counts.
COTAPSA Membership is open to all employees of the Corporation of the City of Toronto who are continuously engaged as non-union or exempt employees in an administrative, professional, management or supervisory capacity, and other employees of the corporation who are ineligible for membership in a trade union (except the City Manager, Deputy City Manager, Executive Director of Human Resources, City Solicitor, and the Director of Labour Relations).
